Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing the function of these tissues. The therapy consists of manual techniques such as rubbing or kneading parts of the body to increase circulation and promote relaxation.

Massage as been shown to relieve low back, mid back and neck pain, especially in conjunction with chiropractic care.  The therapy gives relief to the discomfort that may affect pregnant women, reduce symptoms of carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis, as well as help reduce the symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Massage therapy can also improve flexibility and range of motion, can relax overused muscles from sports or work related activities.  It can also help reduce pain from disc bulges, herniations and even spinal fusion.
